2010 Oliver Christmas Dinner

These are simple point & shoots.  Just sharing =)

(So mad it was blurry)

Seriously?

Okay, so I found someone to convert my RAW photos to JPEG.  All I had to do was give him my SD Card.

When I initially imported the (RAW) photos to my laptop, it made it UNBELIEVEABLY slow.  I finally figured out how to delete them from my computer.  All I had to do was connect my camera to my laptop.

Does anyone see what's wrong with this scernario??  I definitely deleted the RAW photos from my computer, but it also deleted them from my camera.

I guess there is no need for the conversion, huh?

AHHH ...

Wow, well I'd hoped to have some photos up by know, but I had hernia surgery on November 18 (that is reason enough!!!) and I left my camera's manual in my friend's car (thanks, Hana, for sending it back).  Now that I have it back, I realize none of my pictures are in a .jpeg format.  They are in a .nef (or RAW) format.  So when I uploaded them from my camera to my laptop, there were no pictures to display.  I have no clue what I am doing.

Man, I am so overwhelmed with all this camera stuff!  And I haven't even gotten into the whole ISO, metering, aperature information.  Is this really for me?

A True Newbie

Well, folks, after a lot of praying, I have decided to learn more about photography.  After meeting with one of my best friends last week, I realize I have A LOT to learn.  I am hoping to grow on this journey!  I am very excited about what God is going to do.  So, here's to blogging!  Cheers!
